During the 2024 Budget Meeting they announced that the Right To Buy discount will be cut to ยฃ16,000, or ยฃ38,000 for those in London from 21st November 2024 which is a big difference compared to what it was. They have confirmed that any applications that are put in before the 21st of November, they will honor the previous discount.

Some lenders will take the discount you receive from the council as your deposit so you might not need to put any of your own deposit towards the purchase.
