Have you seen a property you love or currently searching for one but you are not sure where to go from there?
Prepare and start searching
Well firstly you will need an AIP before you start looking so contact us to get one of those in under 60 minutes upon receipt of the correct documents!
Then start searching for a property that is within your budget and suitable for you.
Contact the Estate Agents
Once you have found one, you need to go and view it! So somewhere on the property listing there will be a number of the estate agents who are selling it, give them a call and tell them you want to view the property.
They will ask for basic details of you and book you in to view it with either the seller directly showing you around or an estate agent themselves showing you around. After the viewing you need to look at how much you want to put your offer in for, you can go higher or lower than the listing price.
Put in your offer
The give the agents a call and confirm you want to put an offer in on the property and they will either take this over the phone or ask you to email them with the exact amount you are offering.
They will then speak to the seller of the property to see if they either accept or decline. Sometimes you will find that multiple people will put an offer in, meaning the seller may ask you to offer more. Sometimes even a slight difference in your offer can cause your offer to be accept. Also as you are a first time buyer this is also a selling point, as you do not need to sell a property to buy another one.
If they decline you can look at offering higher if you are in a position to do so.
If they accept, they will ask you to send them the AIP, proof of deposit and ID's. You now need to give your mortgage broker a call and tell them all the details so they can apply for the mortgage!
